Check-in is any time after 4pm, and we ask that you check out by 10am on the day of departure. Early check-in or late check-out can sometimes be arranged, subject to availability, for an additional fee of £100. Late evening arrivals are no problem at all — as there will be keys in the key box.
There is street parking directly outside the apartment. It costs approximately £5 per hour on weekdays between 8:30am and 5:30pm, and is free in the evenings and at weekends.
The minimum stay is three nights throughout the year. During August (festival season), Christmas and New Year, the minimum stay is one week.
Yes — there is free Wi-Fi throughout the apartment, plus a Smart TV in the drawing room.
The apartment is strictly no smoking, and we're sorry but dogs and other pets cannot be accommodated (although dogs are very welcome at our sister properties in southwest Scotland). The apartment sleeps a maximum of four guests, plus an infant in the travel cot, and we ask all guests to be considerate of our neighbours, particularly late in the evening.
The tram runs from Edinburgh Airport into the city centre in about 35 minutes (£7.50 single, £9.50 return) — get off at the Picardy Place tram stop. It’s then an 8-minute walk down Broughton Street to the apartment. Alternatively, the Airlink 100 express bus runs every 10 minutes and costs around £8.
The Royal Mile is the furthest of the main attractions, at roughly a 30-minute walk through the Georgian New Town — most sights are considerably closer. See our

There is a Tesco supermarket a five-minute walk away, and nearby Broughton Street has a butcher, a fishmonger, organic grocers and a wonderful selection of cafés and delis.
All linen and towels are provided — thick feather-filled duvets and pillows, crisp white sheets, bath sheets and hand towels — along with Arran Aromatics toiletries, a hair dryer, and gas central heating and electricity included in the price.
A 35% deposit is payable on reservation, with the balance due six weeks before you arrive. We accept credit card or direct bank transfer, and you can cancel for any reason up to 14 days before your arrival date.
